is one of five Music Ensembles continuing the legacy of Conrad O. Johnson's legacy. This 14 piece R&B / Funk Band includes original members of the Kashmere Stage Band who featured in the 2011 Jamie Foxx documentary Thunder Soul. This film shares our legacy and that of our late music educator and mentor Conrad “Prof” Johnson. The group's primary focus and intent is to promote Fine Arts and Education globally through student workshops and the screening of the film. And along the way, they will funk some concerts too. ThunderSOUL Orchestra's long awaited album called 5280728 is finally here!! The new album was recorded in Houston, Texas at Stone Heights Studios and Wire Road Studios. Also, the album was recorded at Jackson Browne's Groove Masters Studios located in Santa Monica California. #GetFunk'd!!

REVIEW OF THUNDER SOUL
"If you haven't seen a documentary yet called Thunder Soul produced by Jamie Foxx run to Amazon and watch it now. I have no idea how I didn't know about the SERIOUSLY funktified Kashmere High School Stage Band back in the 70s. It took this documentary made in 2010 I saw about a year ago to bring me up to speed. When Craig Baldwin, who got the band back together 35 years later for this doc, contacted me on Facebook, I JUMPED! So MUCH musical merriment in the future! Go watch ThunderSOUL documentary. Joyous, inspirational, FUNKY and bring your Kleenex."
